Inclusion Companies Announces ReWired Festival Hosted at University of Arkansas

Event Will Kick Off with Esports Tournaments Featuring a Grand Total of 60K in Prizes for Gamers

Inclusion Companies LLC announced today the ReWired Festival (ReWired Fest 2022), its newest marketing platform and festival venture, presented by Monster Energy and sponsored by Walmart. The event will take place October 20 – 22 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the University of Arkansas.

ReWired Fest is a fully immersive esports and digital experience designed to foster an equitable future in esports and tech by encouraging black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) communities, as well as women and people of all abilities to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).

The event will kick off with multiple esports tournaments worth a total of $60,000 in prizes.

ReWired Fest combines esports tournaments, groundbreaking tech, gaming lounges, a food expo, vintage gaming, STEAM education, awe-inspiring experiences, celebrity panels, and more.

“Gaming is the cornerstone of ReWired Fest, but the event is about much more than that,” said Trevor Drinkwater, CEO of Inclusion Companies. “Strategy, teamwork, community, and problem solving are just some of the positive aspects we will celebrate in the hopes of inspiring today’s youth to pursue jobs in the areas of STEAM. We’re equally excited to be holding this event at the University of Arkansas, where the impressive student engagement, community support and top-flight facilities are sure to make this an unforgettable event for all.”

“Esports has been an integral part of Monster Energy’s marketing by fueling gamers for over a decade and we are excited to continue partnering with events like ReWired Fest,” said Monster Energy CMO Dan McHugh. “We welcome the opportunity to encourage the next generation to pursue their passion and esports can be the conduit to inspire.”

Chris Nagelson, vice president of media and gaming at Walmart U.S., commented, “The ReWired platform was built to engage and inspire today’s youth around the positive aspects of esports and technology. It is our hope that this event creates opportunities for students to realize new and exciting career paths through the pursuit of science and technology and we’re proud to be a part of an event that is focused on inspiring the next generation of leaders.
